Inspiration. Reflection. Clarity. Purpose. Direction. Strategy. Action taking. Accountability.
The Second Act Success coaching programme is for you if…
- You sense your Second Act or Next Act is calling and coming. You feel at a crossroads in your life and/or work. You feel ready for something new… but you’re not sure how to make the shift, turn ideas into a new direction or how you will cope financially.
-You are ready to change your life or work in some way; a different career, move jobs, step into another sector or direction and need help to design your journey
- You’re surfacing after a major life change; having a baby or kids, a divorce, illness or a move and re-evaluating where you are and what you want from your life and work.
-You feel a new and exciting desire to carve out time and space to re-vision and re-vamp how you live your life at this time of deep uncertainty; for you and your family.
- You are in a new place in yourself that feels like a ‘mid-life’ point and you want to really think about what comes next.
- You’re waking up lacking motivation for your day ahead, for your work or for life…you know you would value some expert-led space and time to re-imagine how your work and life could be and get started on making changes
- You feel stuck, confused or frustrated; time is moving on and the career plan you began some years ago doesn’t hold the same spark for you
- You harbour a passion or creative venture you would love to action and/or monetarise, but feel scared and procrastinate
- You've got an idea for a side hustle alongside your usual work but your imposter syndrome is screaming
- Life feels difficult in this moment and you want some time to figure out who you are and what you want - but your confidence is low
- You feel nervous or anxious about making changes, or concerned about what others might think if you suddenly shift into a new direction
- You're fed up seeing other people doing what you want to do but you're just not doing it yourself
- You are seeking a cost effective way to get coaching and like the idea of doing it with other women
The Second Act Success coaching programme will:
1. Help you to identify what is at the heart of your Second or Next Act– what is it or could it be?
2. Inspire you to dream up your own personal plan that will support and take you forward.
3. Help you to uncover and understand the hurdles and blocks that get in the way of you transforming your career or work life as you want it to be.
4. Support you to understand, face and release any blocks and hurdles so that playing small becomes a thing of the past.
5. Coach you to identify and create strategies that work for you each step of the way so that you can start to activate plans and ideas and replicate strategies after the programme.
6. Help you to grow your own network of women who ‘get you’ and will cheer you on each step of the way.
What's exciting and different about this course?
- It is based on my 37 years of professional expertise of working with all types of people just like you to help you locate and activate what matters next in your career and work life; my expertise is in coaching professional women who come to a realisation that there's a Second Act around the corner but who also feel lost, stuck, confused or overwhelmed.
- This is my signature programme - tried tested and impactful. I've run this programme many times with excellent results and outcomes for my clients.
- Helping people like you to move forward is one of my superpowers . I see you very clearly; I have run groups for many years, am in clinical supervision and committed to working with a diversity and trauma-informed framework to ensure groups are safe fun and growthful spaces.
- My mission is to help people face the big questions in their careers and lives. The time we have is limited and so living our lives with purpose has huge benefits for our families, our relationships, our community, our systems and ultimately the planet.
-This coaching programme is designed around my step by step ‘Do What Makes You Happy’ System. This work will help you to become aligned with your purpose and create your own bespoke strategy and plan. I will lead you through a creative process of learning and discovery and 'hold space' for you and the group to explore, learn, discover and generate new and exciting ideas. You will action new ideas and take your next steps - whatever this is for you. Most importantly you will become really clear on what supports you to succeed and what gets in the way of your happiness and success.
Each month’s theme comes from my Do What Make You Happy System for example:
How to get clear on your next chapter
Planning, purpose and how to take aligned action
Working with blocks and limiting beliefs
Wanting more, receiving more and conscious creation
How to find your flow in life and work

Your Second Act is the time for re-invention; a particular stage or moment in our life cycle when the desire and possibly the opportunity comes together for personal and/or professional re-invention. It comes at a particular juncture in our life cycle - a very personal moment when you sense somewhere inside you that it’s time for change in a fundamental way - a ‘what the hell is NEXT? moment.
The Second Act is a time for transformation - not so much as a side step, but more of a leap up and out to somewhere else. A leap out into something or somewhere that you’re not quite sure how you will do it but you know it’s time.
This moment is unique to all of us but it can be determined not only by important life events happening - expected or unexpected, but also by important shifts in our awareness or personal consciousness. Common times for second acts are after having children, turning 40 or 50, pre or post menopause, at a relationship split up or new beginning, during a physical move or after an illness.
It’s the time in your life when little internal voices have become a bit louder and you’ve realised that you are not getting any younger and it is time to face these fears and see if your visions and ideas have ‘legs’.
The Second Act is the moment when you feel like you have had enough of what you have ‘been’, you want to shed some skin and grow into a new identity
Interestingly women give this moment a series of common names. They talk about this moment as a feeling of plateauing - a moment where the future feels unclear; there’s no clear sense of direction or the possibility of going back, but moving forward seems baffling.
Others talk about their Second Act as a moment where they experience a new sense of clarity and perspective - knowing that they just cannot carry on with the path they are on any more.
In many cases women describe this as a moment when we realise we’ve served others needs or expectations for a long time, when we may have subsumed our own identity or when our sense of self has gone or been outgrown. It is a powerful moment of realisation when women notice how they put their needs to the bottom of the pile, when they realise their life has been focused on others expectations, or a relationship isn’t feeding them anymore; when a break-up might be imminent or when a health scare wakes us up to the fact that life is short and time is ticking. Second Acts can come at the point when kids are about to complete their exams or leave home and suddenly this initial phase of mothering is done and there is time and space ahead but no clear sense of direction or purpose.
It’s a moment when women see that there can be very real barriers and obstacles that they will face in shaking up their own system and that these will need to be faced, explored, understood and disarmed in order to move through what’s holding them back.
Finally it’s the next and new chapter - a time when YOU get to decide – not your parents, school, partner, family, community or society – but the time in your life when you stand up and say it’s my time to do what I want to do. When it’s time to embody a renewed sense of self and re-find the next true nature of what is wanted or needed for happiness health satisfaction wealth and contentment; to morph into the next incarnation, the next iteration, the next layer of the onion.

Not at all. What you do need is a positive intention to start to explore ideas and do the work that will help you move into your Second Act.
The course is designed as a process and a journey. It is the journey that will be useful to go on - you might not necessarily know what the destination will look like yet. The course is designed so that you get an opportunity and space to think about and answer incisive questions about your Second Act - how you would like your work life to be. I will lead you through a process that will open up ideas and thinking. Whatever you come on the programme with will be exactly the right place for you to be.
-
The course runs Nov - July and we will meet every month, online. The dates are in the info page.
Regular coaching and programme content will be sent to you via whats app.
In addition to this there will be a dynamic and supportive course 'Community Whats App' group where you can check-in with me and your fellow participants. I will drop into the group on a regular basis so please think of this as the space to ask for help as the group progresses through the programme.
-
Once you have signed up for the course I will send you a short email and also include my usual coaching agreement. You will sign to say you’ve received and understood all of this and we will discuss all of this in the first session too.
-
This course is open to any and all women. Inclusivity is very important to me so I aim to provide a space where women of all backgrounds feel welcome. What is very important is that you connect with the information on here about the course and that it describes where you find yourself to be in life and that you feel ready for your exploration of your Second Act. The course is for any women that feels a ‘YES thats me!’ or anyone who is feeling stuck, lacking purpose or direction and wants to get that spark back. I am known as someone who works with creative and energetic processes as a way to unlock ideas and new ways forward. I make no assumption about who will be attracted to the course and what your background will be. I will use creative tasks to uncover information and ideas but ALL of my methods are designed with no artistic background needed.
